On March 22, 2005, the West Central Connection was featured at South West State University, History of Music Class, as a performer.  The students and teacher invited both the chorus and the Marshall Sweet Adeline Chorus to show off the Barbershop Music style and also display the chorus rehearsal and performance experience for the class. 

Open membership Christmas Concert was a dynamic and uplifting experience.  On November 1, 2004, the chorus opened its doors to all male singers for a five rehearsal preparation before a performance  on December 2, 2004.  The entire performance was divided between religious and traditional Christmas music.  With a singing membership of 54 men, the WEAC stage was filled with the sounds of volunteers from the immediate area.  A truly great sound was produced by that many singers, and it was a wonderful experience for the membership of the chorus to host this event.
