Rehearsals - Monday at 7:00 p.m.

Senior Citizens Center * N. Highway 71 * Willmar, MN 56201

Both the chorus and quartets will take booking for singing engagements through our office.  The phone number is 320-222-SING (7464).  Providing the entire group can be assembled for an every, the chorus will perform the National Anthem for school events, and show songs for civic and charitable groups, at no cost.

Each Valentines Day, quartets fro the chorus are fund raising by performing singing Valentines.  A charity from Willmar and the chorus share in the administrative duties and income.  In 2005, Teen Hope of Willmar was our partner for this event.

We have a Friends of the Chorus Sponsorship list.  The contributions by this group of business in Willmar and the surrounding communities make it possible for the chorus to function.  The cost of our annual show is equal to income from ticket sales.  That means the operating expenses for an entire year are derived from gifts received from these wonderful supporting  businesses.

A way of giving back to the communities and schools that support our barbershop hobby is by subsidizing Harmony College expenses.  Sending member, vocal music educators and quartet singers to a Barbershop Singing Society week long music emersion experience is our way of protecting the future of the hobby.  The chorus subsidizes the expense of area singers and educators when they volunteer their time to attend Harmony College/Directors College during a week in August, each year.  To learn more, call the office at 320-222-7464.

Parades and performances out doors are great ice breakers for the chorus.  We are looking for engagements.  Taking the equipment and uniform trailer out for a warm weather visit to Willmar or neighboring communities and to regional parades and events each summer is common practice.  If the chorus volunteers comprise all four singing parts, you might even hear a tune or two from time to time.
